So as I mentioned earlier this week, I got to see Santigold LIVE IN CONCERT at Terminal 5! I’m not a huge concertgoer, but Terminal 5 is definitely an awesome venue and they aren’t annoying with their drinking policies as some places can be. (i.e. you can only drink in the one corner with this one wristband and only if you face a northwest direction while holding one leg up) Anyways, I think she is so pretty with her new longer Kelly Rowland-esque hair, and she was incredibly down to earth and cute during her in-between-song banter.

I didn’t get a chance to see the opening acts, but Santi opened with this new song by Major Lazer, Hold the Line, that she is featured on. I figured I’d share it here since I would imagine most people haven’t heard it before:
Here is the entire setlist for the night (thanks to Billboard’s review, I definitely don’t have the short term memory to remember it all) in case you were wondering:
“Hold the Line”
“You’ll Find a Way” (Switch & Graeme Remix)
“L.E.S. Artistes”
“Say Aha”
“Lights Out”
“Anne”
“Brooklyn Go Hard”
“Shove It”
“Get It Up”
“Unstoppable”
“My Superman”
“I’m a Lady” (Amanda Blank version)
“I’m a Lady”
“Killing an Arab” (The Cure cover)
“Creator”
Encore:
“Starstruck”
“B.O.O.T.A.Y.”
My favorite songs of the night were definitely L.E.S. Artistes, Say Aha, Brooklyn Go Hard/Shove It, Superman, Unstoppable, and Creator. To be honest though, there was not a bad performance in the entire set. I also absolutely loved her synchronized robotic back-up dancers/singers. They totally killed it.
My one let down was that she didn’t integrate any of the mixtape remixes that I mentioned a few posts ago. I understand that it only came out a few days ago and such, but if she had done something with them it would’ve been insaaaaane and my head would’ve exploded.
For good measure, here is my favorite song from that mixtape:
